  1. Morey- Saint- Denis Vieilles Vignes 2016

"The 2016 Morey St Denis Vieilles Vignes, which includes 70% whole bunch, has a taut and linear bouquet with dark fruit, blackberry and bilberry, hints of soy and autumn leaves (from the whole bunch component). The palate is fresh on the entry, the tannins a touch softer than the La Rue de Vergy, quite focused with blackberry, graphite and sous bois notes toward the finish that becomes spicier with aeration Very fine." 91-93 Points Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate.

  2. By Farr Farrside Pinot Noir 2016

"Each vintage of Farrside pinot noir exhibits more masculinity, structure and savoury components, while deep meaty, spicy and mineral flavours also continue to evolve. A balanced array of red and black fruits, Farrside pinot noir is fresh and edgy with bucketloads of character. This is a firm yet delicate wine with a long-textured finish" Nick Farr.

  3. Brash Higgins Mcc 2017

“Ruby red with an attractive nose of green peppercorn, ash, cherries and roses, the MCC delivers wildness and perfume in equal measures. Sweet red fruit contrasts the spiciness on the palate and finishes clean and focused. Lower alcohol levels and good acidity keep the wine bright and fresh faced. A versatile companion to have with lunch or dinner.” Brad Hickey, Vinitor.

  4. Tonic Grenache 2017

"Light. So light. Delicate. Bone china. A piece of craft, the flavours placed one by one into the glass. Or so it feels. Mineral, graphite, strawberry, red cherry, herbs and …. tonic. You could describe this in myriad ways but it’s the lightness, the dryness, the way presence takes precedence over weight, the way spices spark their way along the palate as if a line of Tom Thumbs have been set to fire. That word again. Exquisite. Completely outside the norm of what we expect of grenache in Australia." 94 Points Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.

  5. Jean Foillard Morgon Cote Du Py 2016

"The 2016 Morgon Côte du Py is more convincing on the nose than the Morgon Corcelette at the moment, with vivacious dark cherry, raspberry and orange blossom aromas soaring from the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, quite linear and very focused with a saline touch on the finish. There is great potential here, and it constitutes one of Jean Foillard's most promising offerings in 2016. Jean Foillard was away from the domaine when I visited. Readers should refer to my introduction with respect to his son, Alexandre. Needless to say, these are extremely well crafted, low-intervention wines using minimal SO2, used barrels and no fining or filtration. All that is irrelevant if the wine does not taste good, and Foillard's wines have tasted brilliantly for many years, as attested by a stunning 2004 Morgon Côte du Py that would surpass many a hi-falutin Côte de Nuits! 91-93 Points"Tasted September '17Neal Martin - The Wine Advocate

  6. M&j Becker Wines Mendocino Pinot Noir 2015

This Pinot Noir hails from the Manchester Ridge vineyard in Mendocino County, California.Made by Aussie young guns Meagan and James Becker (also of Oakvale & From Sunday wines) who regularly make pilgrimage to the west coast of the USA to indulge their facination with excellent pinot made in the vineyard with minimal handling in winery. The wine shows a nose of red fruit dripping in liquer, with a touch of subtle amaro herb. The palate reflects the nose, but with additions of mushroomy/forest floor savoury tones, bright acidity and the gentlest caress of soft tannin. Serious but moreish stuff here - Bravo! -Liam

  7. Schwarz Wine Company Gsm 2016

  8. Cullen Diana Madeline 2016

96 Points - Gary Walsh - Wine Front - "Here’s a sleek wine of exquisite perfume and balance that treads lightly, but surely through the palate. Dances, even. There’s a quiet storm of graphite tannin, red and black fruits, a distinct pencil and mineral thing going on, clean fresh acidity, and a wonderfully long finish. It’s painting with water colours, to borrow a phrase, but gee it makes a beautiful picture. It’s rare to find a Cabernet with this level of poise and control. Yet again, Cullen is leading the pack."
