  4. Torbreck Runrig Shiraz 2016

"I recently tasted through this lineup of wines scheduled for March2019 release (the knockout 2016 RunRig will come out in June)and came away believing that the wines have never been better. That’s not to slight any of his predecessors, just that with his freshperspective, additional investments in renovating and developingvineyards (viticulturist Nigel Blieschke deserves a lot of that credit) anda renewed commitment to excellence, even the inexpensive cuvéesare looking impressive. Having seen a few barrel samples of the higherend 2018s, I can hardly wait for my next trip to the Barossa."97/100, JOE CZERWINSKI, Wine Advocate.

  8. Jean Luc Jamet Cdr Couzou 2016

Importer's notes. Jean-Luc uses less whole bunch (only 30 to 35%) in order to champion the floral elements of the wines. As a result, you can expect more vitality than the sometimes austere style of the original Domaine. What makes the Côte-Rôtie wines from Jean-Luc Jamet so special is the blend of more than ten different plots of vineyards located in the Northern part of Côte-Rôtie, high above the town of Ampuis. It is a melange of diversely composed, rocky soils of schist, granite and sand. These are the many shades that you’ll find in this delicate and very complex wine.
