  1. Bondar Junto Gsm 2017

Sheesh, this has something going on. I like the scent, floral, gently sweet, something candied, a lolly bag just opened, but the breeze of fern and briar whips that away and you get a wholly more complex perfume. Drinking is a charm. So satiny, just on medium weight, the sleek slide of nice pinot noir with the jolly sweet fruit of ruddier grapes slipping in. Its red berries all through the palate with a faint lick of herbal spice – simple done well, freshness on its side. That texture is so good. Makes you want to drink and drink. And it’s got fine edges and length. Long, slow claps. 93 Points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front.

  2. Nick Spencer Rose 2018

Nick Spencer, this man does not make a bad wine. Pale pink in color, the wine displays aromas of fresh strawberries and watermelon. The Palate is bright and refreshing with a silky mouthfeel. Perfect for all seasons.

  3. Eperosa Stonegarden Shiraz 2017

"Includes a cheeky 5% Malbec, and comes from a vineyard planted in the 1860s and 1950s. As an aside, it’s great to see wines coming out of the Barossa that feel more ‘natural’ and not tricked up in the winery so much, and not ashamed of tannin. Plum, dried roses, a sweet earthy thing going on, liquorice and vanilla. It’s full-bodied, flooded with ripe plum and dark cherry, but also plays meaty and earthy, with a luxurious suite of fat graphite tannin – certainly has a stony/mineral feel to it – lovely unobtrusive acidity, and a very long perfumed finish, slick with ripe tannin. In short, it’s very bloody good. Very." 95 + Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.

  4. Eperosa Magnolia Shiraz 2017

"Shiraz from Vine Vale – plantings are 1965 (33%), 1996 (33%), 1896 (17%) and 2010 (17%). 2,400 bottles produced. Chocolate, brown sugar, blackberry, crushed mint and dried flowers, subtle spice. Full-bodied, chocolate and toffee, silky and sooty tannin with balanced acidity, meaty and almost bloody, with fleshy tannin and black olives rolled in dried herbs playing out on the finish. Hearty and wholesome. No problem enjoying this as a young wine." 92 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.

  5. Eperosa Meld Grenache Mataro 2017

"A blend of 60% Grenache from Stonegarden 1858 plantings and Magnolia 1950 plantings with Mataro from the Hoffmann Sand Block, Ebenezer, which was planted in the year 2000. It’s fragrant and perfumed (roses and dried herb), quite spicy too, in with raspberry and caramel. Medium bodied, firm sandy tannin, some earthiness, fruity, but restrained, with a distinct sappy/green herb character, and bitter orange on a nice long finish. It’s an interesting wine. Not your usual suspects here, for sure, has an energy and individual character. Something of a cliché, perhaps, but strikes me as a Pinot Noir drinkers Barossa wine. Or Italianate. Anyway, you get the idea, and while it may not be for everyone, I like the cut of its jib." 93 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.

  6. Eperosa Meld Gsm 2016

"Deep, rolling wine, packed with bitter chocolate and dried herb, thick with tannin and flavour, a lavender perfume in its midst, spice too, and an almost ashen (but good) finish. Acidity sits comfortably within the wine. It’s very purple. Very adult. And very good. I’m thinking this would be magic with a cassoulet, or perhaps a sausage sandwich. I’d drink it young, though it may well age well." - 94 Points Gary Walsh (The Wine Front)

  7. Domaine Taupenot Merme Chambolle Musigny 2015

"A somber if pretty nose features mostly a variety of red berries and soft floral nuances. There is a lovely sense of refinement to the pure and lacy middle weight flavors that possess solid richness and a certain sleek muscularity, all wrapped in a lingering finish that also displays a subtle hint of warmth. This should drink well young if desired." 87-90, Allen Meadows, Burghound 01/2017.

  9. Domaine De Seminaire Cotes Du Rhone 2016

Notes from the importer: "A beautiful Provençal house, surrounded by olive and truffle oak trees, lavender fields and thick forest, is the centre of this idyllic micro-estate. Hervé Pouizin and his wife, Mathilde have preserved the self-sufficient estate mostly as it was a century ago, with one key exception: they converted everything to organic farming. Fermenting their wines in the same huge concrete tanks since 1938, the couple takes an old-school approach to winemaking and uses no oak. They produce high-toned, bright, floral wines, in keeping with their region and elevation, bottled early to preserve the fruit and with minimal sulfur. These wines offer beauty and amazing value." This wine is certified organic & biodynamic.

  10. Domenica Nebbiolo 2015

The single acre of nebbiolo is grown in a cool, protected southerly pocket on the corner of shale at the southern end off the property. This soil holds more water than the granite, allowing the typically large canopy to maintain its integrity throughout the summer, usually without supplementary irrigation. Tiny yields of three or four bunches per vine develop the intensity of fruit required to make nebbiolo with beautiful structure, and a deep complex core of ripe fruit.
