  1. Zorah Karasi Areni Noir 2015

Vineyards "nestled in the shadows of biblical Mount Ararat, at 1400 meters above sea level, and only a stone's throw away from.....what is to be considered the world's oldest winery....at 6100 years. Never grafted and on its own roots, (Areni Noir), is 100% indigenous to this land with a unique DNA profile that does not match any other. Elegant and fresh, thick skinned and extremely resistant to disease, through the ages Areni has adapted perfectly to the high altitudes and extreme temperatures variations of Vayots Dzor, its natural habitat." 7. Moss Wood Amys 375ml

"A blend of cabernet merlot malbec and petit verdot. It’s still so young but showing excellent fruit concentration. Lush and sweet with juicy fruitiness as you might expect from such a recent vintage. A wine that you can tuck into over the next few years." 92 PointsRay Jordan - The West Australian

  8. Koerner The Clare Red Blend 2017

"The 2016 was syrah and temp and the like, this Clare Red is cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, cabernet franc and malbec, from three vineyards, and a touch ripe at 12.9% versus 12%, and the difference (tasted side by side) is notable in structure and definition.  This trumps the prior. Fleshy red of juiciness and bright, crisp red and black berry fruit characters. Bouncy and almost tart in the palate, vivacious, young, fresh red of vivacity and crunchy texture. Light on in a way too, but has a cool, ease to drinking. Soft cassis and dark berries, touch of mintiness to close, maybe liquorice too. Real nice drinking. Fun stuff with a bit more to ponder.92 PointsTasted : MAR18"Mike Bennie - The Wine Front

  9. Frederick Stevenson Dry Red 2017

40% Cinsault, 29% Shiraz, 23% Grenache and 8% Mourvedre. A light and brigth red wine, little bit of trapped co2 - don't worry if there is jus the slightest fizz upon opening. A good dose of savouriness mixed in with it's crunchy red fruit, tea-like tannins and a salivating acid line, moreish down to the last drop.

  10. Heretic Red Blend 2017

Winery Note:"The project, as a whole, is basically me asking ‘why’ a lot, and challenging my own biases and preconceptions on wine. In some cases I’m doing a complete 180 on the pathways I followed previously in my winemaking career. This is in no way denouncing the wineries I’ve worked at, or the wines I’ve been involved in (I would happily stand behind just about all of them). It’s just me acknowledging that there is a side of winemaking that I haven’t really explored, and that’s what I’m keen to do.” In terms of winemaking, the only thing that has been added to either wine is sulfur. All indigenous yeast, no new oak, minimal lees stirring and gentle extractions. Wines are not fined, corrected, stabilised or filtered."
