  1. Montevecchio Moscato 2017

Winery Note: "Montevecchio Moscato is made from 100% Moscato Giallo, a superior moscato selection imported by Chalmers from northern Italy. This attractive refreshing, light and fruity wine has just a hint of spritz, allowing the bright sherbet, elderflower and honeysuckle flavours of the moscato giallo grape to take centre stage. It balances sweetness, acidity and alcohol perfectly in a style reminiscent of the great wines of Asti."

  2. Brimoncourt Brut Regence

"80% of the blend is Chardonnay from the south of Cote des Blancs, which is supposed to yield more floral wines of the 'mineral' style of Chardonnay from the north, as is to be founmd in Brimoncourt's Blanc de Blancs. This is the signature blend of this ambitious, well-backed house. Tiny bead. Very light nose. Flirtatious texture and not a trace of astringency nor excess acidity. Brisk and appetising. Easy to like with real lift." 16.5/20, Jancis Robsinson MW.

  3. Brimoncourt Brut Rose

"A wonderfully complete, stylish and tightly focused accompaniment to cruisine, this pristine Champagne sports a high percentage of GC fruit. Lifted by a whiff of potpourri, it's complex, creamy and faintly meaty bouquet of red cherries, raspberries and underbrush reveals undertones of orange rind and mushrooms. It's long and crackly, with an austere but chewy palate of punchy pinot driven flavour extending long and faintly mineral over a fine, chalky spine towards a drying and savoury finish. Suberb." 96 Points, Jeremy Oliver.

  4. Brimoncourt Extra Brut

"80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay from Ay, Bouzy Ambonnay, Cramant, Mesnil and Oger. Dosage is just 2g/l. Very nervy, bright nose with good balance considering the low dosage. Not austere at all, though it's a tad chewy. Pretty flirtatious and I must assume some age compensates for the low dosage- though it tastes extremely fresh. Maybe just particularly ripe grapes? Very appetising." 17/20 Points, Jancis Robinson MW.

  7. Benoit Lahaye Blanc De Noirs Nv

Blanc de Noirs: 100% Pinot Noir from Bouzy (Les Vaux Betins and Les Hannepes specifically, both plots with deep soils), and Tauxières, (in an area called Les Argentieres with more chalk.) The vines were planted in 1960, 1980 and 1990. The grapes from each parcel are pressed separately. Bottling is without filtration and the dosage is 5 grams per liter, making it an extra-brut. 666 cases are produced. Its dark-toned fruit is underlined by a stony minerality. It is energetic and persistant all the way through to the finish.

  9. Hentley Farm Blanc De Noir Sparkling 2018

"An unusual place to find pink sparkling wine from, well, with a Barossa home base, but hey, the Australian wine industry is full of surprises. Pale pink colour. Strawberry kissed scents and flavours, creamy notes, nougat sweet-savouriness, gentle fizz. It’s nicely put together, has some easy charm, a little chalkiness for interest too. Easy drinking, but with some complexity in tow. I like it. You should too."90 Points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front.
