  1. Vinteloper Pinot Gris 2018

WINERY NOTES. It's like the Muhammad Ali of Pinot Gris. Float like a butterfly. Sting like a bee. We know wine can be transcendent, and after initial bursts of freshness, our Pinot Gris is all about the funk and soul. Taking its cue from the faint hue of orange/grey from extended skin contact, the aromas of poached pear and peach jump straight out of the glass. In the mouth the stone fruits are there, with cinnamon and vanilla pod spice, building generosity as it unfurls.

  2. Meerea Park Terracotta Syrah 2016

"Meerea Park’s Terracotta Shiraz had a (slight) name change somewhere along the way. This is from the unirrigated Lochlevel Estate vineyard and includes 2% viognier. Viognier may only be 2% of the wine but it has a real impact. Or maybe it just picks up on some of the more savoury aspects here and plugs them into the amplifier. This sees 40% whole bunches and the technique has had an entirely positive effect. In any case this is an immensely floral, nutty, herb-infused wine with sweet marinated meat characters and fresh cherry flavours laid on. It’s not thick or dense; it’s fluid, floral and fancy. The 2016 Hunter Valley vintage doesn’t have a great rep but this wine is a complete charmer. It’s quality is clear." 93+ Points, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.

  4. Meerea Park Alexander Monro Semillon 2008

"Munro is sourced from the 1969 planted Braemore vineyard, referred to by Eather as Burgundian in the way Andrew Thomas, Pepper Tree and Meerea Park all source from the same vineyard. Harvested in a single pick, this is a semillon of pristine focus, tension, energy and texture, with a core of primary citrus energy and epic acid line. Profound mineral texture is classic Braemore, beautifully refined, eminently persistent and backward at five years of age." -Tyson Stelzer, tasted 14/03/2014.

  5. Henschke The Rose Grower Nebbiolo 2013

"Includes 1% barbera, co-fermented, matured in used French hogsheads for 12 months. Typically pale colour, although no move to brick; bright, fresh cherry fruit flavours, almost peppery, and a lively, long finish. Attractive wine because the tannins are already resolved."92 Points, James Halliday.

  6. Meerea Park Alexander Munro Chardonnay 2018

Lovely Chardonnay bouquet of white peach, nectarine fruit underpinned by spicy oak aromas. The palate has generous stone-fruit, melon and fig flavours. This is a beautifully balanced wine that has a refreshing acid backbone and impressive length of flavour.

  7. Hoddles Creek Estate 2018

"Juicy and peachy, spiced oatmeal, fennel and a little stuck match. It’s flavoursome with ripe pear and nectarine flavour, flinty texture, an appealing grapefruit cut to the acidity, and a long, well-defined chalky finish. Feel the quality of quiet confidence. It’s a great thing to drink even as a young wine, though a couple of years will help it along too." 93+ Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.

  8. Mader Riesling 2016

Certified Biodynamic. Contains almost 20% of de-classified Rosacker Grand cru fruit. A fine dry Riesling with texture and depth. Intense floral citrus and lime aromas with mineral backing and wonderful acid backbone. “Intense minerality and acidity are the main thrust of this young wine. It has a steely element, so crisp and nervy, full of green apple and powerful citrus. A wine that needs to age for 3–4 years". Roger Voss; Wine Enthusiast Magazine
