  1. Fletcher C17 Langhe Chardonnay 2017

Superb Chardonnay from our little Australian friend in Piedmont. Fletcher's Langhe Chardonnay is medium bodied, tasteful and even has a nice acidic grip. In other words, this is Chardonnay in complete balance. In addition to the fresh acid, the wine has a thorough minerality, which gives the wine a lot of complexity. It's just crazy here and we are not pale to say that Fletcher's Chardonnay tastes like big white Burgundy. Chardonnay is not at the top of Langhe, but Fletchers Chardonnay can compete with the very best whites from all of Piemonte ... and he has the many wine farmers from the area's words. We have received quite a few bottles, and we prefer Fletchers Chardonnay. So you have to be quick, because we are thirsty here in Narrow Vine.

  2. Mike Press Chardonnay 2017

Very light straw yellow. It's mostly about grapefruit, melons, apples and nectarines and it's strongly regional. It's refreshing and crisp but retains enough interest, minerality and complexity. There are some grassy notes on the nose and back palate.

  3. Pewsey Vale 1961 Block Riesling 2017

"This wine looked stellar on first try, but watch it soar on day two – a portent for the future. Pretty perfume of frangipani and green leaves, fragrant ginger and lemongrass, citrus, pith and juice, grapefruit sorbet. Such a lovely start. Beautiful texture and softeness of mineral-draped acidity. Slate, wet pebble, then the tang of citrus, touch of tonic water, pop of green herbs, maybe even eucalyptus in there. Character filled, softness and mineral charm in spades. Superb." 95+ pointsTasted March 2018Mike Bennie - The Wine Front

  4. Gerard Duplessis Chablis Montmains 1er Cru 2015

Geography: two plots of one hectare each ideally exposed on clayey-limestone soil. Tasting: powerful, bold, determined. The robust wine that nothing scares, starting with time ...“This was a good selection of wines from Duplessis. In some ways they felt Zen-like: clinical, efficient and linear Chablis that get straight to the point and deliver exactly what you want from a Chablis with minimum fuss” – Neal Martin – Wine Advocate May 2014 Winemakers to watch by sommeliers – Feb 2014 (US edition) – “So many possible wineries to talk about here. I’m very excited about the Chablis line-up by Gérard Duplessis. The wines are alive and profound—extremely mineral and focused, classic in style and executed with impressive precision. I also love their farming practices (organic) and the fact that they’re still an excellent value” – Jordan Salcito (Momofuku) RAISON D’ETRE – CERTIFIED ORGANIC CHABLIS, 1ER AND GRAND CRU NEW GUARD – Lillian Duplessis took over last year from his father after working both with Gerard and around the world. CERTIFIED ORGANIC – After five years of working strictly Organically in the vineyard on 2013 the domaine became certified, now seen for the first time on the label this year.

  5. Cloudy Bay Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Winery Notes: Vineyards for making Te Koko 2013 were specifically chosen due to a combination of flavour intensity borne from vine age, balanced acidity and a ripe aromatic profile. Juicy, with mouthwatering notes of nectarine, kaffir lime and lemongrass. A round and creamy mouthfeel complimented by a gentle minerality, while the nervy acidity contributes to a youthful and vibrant finish.

  6. Monmousseau Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2016

"If Marlborough Sauv Blanc is too fruity or sweet for you then here's a much drier, cleaner and refreshing expression of the variety; aromatically there's clean herbaceous notes akin to freshly snapped snow peas, cut grass and legumes mixed with floral tinges, ripe limes and passionfruit. The palate shows ripe, white stone fruits then a lovely blast of juicy, ripe limes, finishing with some crunchy, zippy acids. Looking fwd to a summer with heatwaves! 16+/20." Wine Culture, 19/12/17."Monmousseau Touraine is 100% Sauvignon blanc from Touraine in the central Loire around Cheverny. From fruit grown on richer soils that are still on a limestone base giving the wines good freshness and body. Shows bright clear Sauvignon character without any grassy herbaceous notes. Fine and pure fruit couple with richness from lees aging and lifted floral aromatics this wine is great." Importer's notes

  7. Woodlands Wilyabrup Chardonnay 2017

Winery Notes: "This wine delivers the essence of new season tree fruits.  The expansive nose reveals ripe white peach and nectarine, some creamy wine lees complexity, Provençal herbs, and a subtle note of tropical passionfruit. The palate is full flavoured on entry; with white peaches, grapefruit, and hints of pine needle and citrus rind. The palate is long and fine – lingering with bright fruit flavours and a hint of caramel and barrel toast."

  8. Rippon Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2016

"Biodynamic. Actually pretty damn good! So much minerality here that I got a tingle down my spine. As if a granite spine. Marble. Cold and shards and sage and powdered tarragon and spring nettles in white pepper. Tingling tingling tingling. "17.5/20 Points Tamlyn Currin,  JANCIS ROBINSON.

  9. Rippon Estate Jeunesse Riesling 2017

"From one of the most beautiful vineyard sites in the galaxy. And one of the world’s great riesling producers. Bright and flavoursome, light and pristine in fruit character, a slick of sweetness with an arrow of limey-mineral-charged acidity through it. It’s wonderful, easy drinking, shows some quiet complexity, drives well through the mouth, leaves you feeling fresh and, unusually, sort of revitalised after each sip. Dangerously drinkable, indeed." 93 Points,  Mike Bennie, WINEFRONT.

  10. Lino Ramble Vinyl Pinot Grigio 2017

"Adelaide Hills from Kuitpo. Straight up ‘n’ down grigio from free run juice. Feel the freshness. The freshness of Andy Coppard’s beard. Crisp and tangy, refreshing and utterly smashable. A no brainer drinker of the highest order. Touch of grassiness, squeeze of lime/lemon, bristling minerally tang. Aromatic, easy to drink, grigio 101 with just a touch of flair. Guzzle with impunity. Blistering value." 91 Points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front.
