  1. Braida Brachetto D'acqui 2015 375m

Importer's Notes: A dessert wine and among the most elegant and pleasant, it is best consumed when young when it truly expresses the fragrance of the grape. These include tantalising notes of Bulgarian rose and mature fruits with a fresh, lively and musky taste. Braida's Brachetto d'Acqui is probably the only wine in the world, which above all, marries well with chocolate.Fermentation of Brachetto takes place in stainless steel tanks under a controlled temperature environment. Maceration on the skins lasts 36-48 hours producing a must of only 3% alcohol. A second fermentation takes place in sealed tanks for several days followed by clarification and stabilizing. Finally the wine sees a short period of ageing in the bottle prior to release. Colour: Soft, light ruby red hue with a persistent, spritely foam Nose: Highly aromatic bouquet of Bulgarian roses and delicate red fruits Palate: Sweet and playful, this wine displays its aromas clearly on the palate and leaves a musky, fresh and clean finish. Alc/Vol: 5.50%

  4. Vietti Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco 2013

Mike Bennie 90/100 - "The ‘entry level’ Vietti wine, per se, with a goal to taking other wines to best level by removing the ‘lesser fruit’, but a wine built to be an introduction to nebbiolo from Piedmont too. Juicy, bright wine of nebbiolo 101 personality showing red cherry, rose water, floral notes, tar and char. Fine and fresh feeling wine, transparent, almost washy, but that spread of lacy tannin still shows you who is boss. It’s a great drink and has neat DNA of fancier Vietti wines. Comely trattoria style."

  6. Massolino Barolo Docg 2011

"The 2011 Barolo is an expansive wine that shows great definition and ample richness that is reflective of the warm growing season. It opens to soft lines with plush tones of ripe berry, black cherry, spice and mahogany. It is best suited for near-term consumption. Soft lines and plush tannins characterize the finish." 90 points, Monica Larner, eRobertParker.com #219

  7. Massolino Barolo Docg 2012

93+ Points, Wine Front, "From a selection of vineyards in Serralunga, aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Spice, cherries, bit of aniseed, floral notes – aromatic and almost pretty, you might say. It’s medium bodied, perhaps not the most concentrated or deep of wines, but has freshness and a graceful character by way of compensation. Fragrant rosy mouth-perfume, raspberry and cherry, a seasoning of orange rind, gentle chewy tannin that grips if you push it around, and then pulls grainy and firm on the finish. Aftertaste is all the charm of perfume, spice and fresh red fruits. Evolves well in the glass, and while it drinks well now with a bit of air, I’d say it’s going to shape up and improve further with a few years cellaring. It’s a lovely thing to drink."

  8. Elvio Cogno Barolo Ravera 2013

97 Points - James Suckling - 2013 Barolo Ravera - 'Wonderful complexity and subtlety here with firmness. Aromas of orange peel, stones, walnuts and dark fruits. Medium to full body, plenty of fruit and a racy finish. A beauty. Drink or hold.' Elvio Cogno was named winery of the year by Wine & Spirits magazine in 2016.Barolo Ravera is produced with the grapes of the most important cru in Novello, a guarantee of fine aromas, sapid flavor, and great complexity. The mainly calcareous soil of this historical vineyard adds elegance and structure to the wine, making it ideal for aging. Only a few great wines possess its capacity to develop successfully over the years. Austere and severe in its early years, Barolo Ravera loses none of its typicality with the passing of time; on the contrary, it improves. Careful selection in the vineyard and a relatively long fermentation help to heighten the characteristics of the grapes, which fully express themselves after aging in the bottle. A unique testimonial for a prestigious terroir, this wine takes the typicality of the Langhe hills to the top in terms of quality.

  10. Sandrone Le Vigne Barolo 2010

96 Points, Monica Larner, 26 June 2014, eRobertParker.com, "The 2010 Barolo Le Vigne is composed from an assembly of fruit sourced from the townships of Barolo, Novello and Serralunga d’Alba. It reflects Barolo tradition in which, years ago, this noble wine was made from a wide assembly of fruit instead of single cru sites (as is the custom today). Bright cherry fruit, blackberry and creme de cassis segue to profound layers of licorice, spice, cola and anisette. It feels strong and tonic in the mouth with a pleasingly velveteen texture and a fresh dose of zesty acidity." Drink: 2017-2030.
