  1. Luke Lambert Chardonnay 2018

"Subdued fruit, into lemon rind, citrus, green apple, aniseed, with nutty saline character. It’s savoury, a little kombucha or yoghourt sourness, intense acidity, fine chalk dust texture, and a long perfumed/sour-edged finish. It’s engaging and very good, though likely to polarise.94 PointsTasted : Feb19"Gary Walsh - The Wine Front

  3. Garagiste Balnarring Pinot Noir 2016

On 2015 Vintage - 94 Points, Campbell Mattinson, Wine Front, "From the Balnarring sub-region of the Mornington Peninsula. Wild yeast, 25% whole bunches, 25% new French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered. There’s a heartiness to this, a depth, but it’s not at the expense of attitude. This stands up for itself. It glistens with boysenberry, plum and stewed strawberry fruit flavours but nutty/smoky oak plays a key role and more so, reams of twiggy spice and herb. Both crackle and pop. There’s an urgency to the tannin, almost a edginess, though it yet feels tense and controlled. It’s a bit young but it’s more than a bit good."

  6. Nick Spencer Gundagai Medium Bodied Red Blend 2018

"Nick Spencer has a long and highly-rewarded career in winemaking, so when he branched out a few years ago to establish his eponymous label, there was no doubt that his relationships with some of NSW’s best growers would underwrite the quality of his wines. Made from shiraz (60%), touriga (28%), tempranillo (6.5%) and cabernet sauvignon (5.5%), the 2018 Gundagai Red Blend screams of confidence in his fruit sources – the Book Book and Tumblong Vineyards of Gundagai. Pale purple with crimson edges. Vivacious, bright aromatics of violets, raspberries cinnamon and clove spice. Nouveau. High-toned red fruits are anchored by mulberries, red plums and blueberries. It’s juicy and serious at once. Just enough of everything. A brilliantly constructed blend. "96 Points#2 of 44 2018 Shiraz Blends From AustraliaNick Butler - The Real Review
