Notes
This is a complex Pinot Noir with undergrowth, reductive notes, macerated cherry and woodsy spice notes aplenty. It has a saltbush aspect too, which is probably just the way the reductive forces have manifested. In any case, it’s a positive. The structure of this wine is excellent; velvety and firm at once, the undercarriage to an airline of fresh, complex fruit. This wine will mature well. It has the hallmarks. It’s exquisitely sound through the finish too.
