  1. Juniper Cornerstone Karridale Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

"I think this replaces the Higher Plane Cabernet. Raspberry coulis, mint, tobacco and black olive, wet earth, pencil oak. It’s medium-bodied, fresh and supple, dense in flavour with fine-grained tannin, regal carriage, and a long black fruited finish. It’s a wine of quiet concentration and sweet small berried and truffle charm. I think it drinks well now. " 94 Points, Gary Walsh - The Wine Front.

  2. Mosswood Cabernet 2001

"It is undeniable – the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon blows away its siblings. The winery’s flagship offering, it spends 22 months in French oak, of which 50% is new, and includes a small percentage of Merlot (5-6%) in the blend. A terrific Margaret River Cabernet, it boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as a big bouquet of creme de cassis intermixed with licorice, vanilla, and spice box. Medium to full-bodied, layered, but subtle, it will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age, and keep for over a decade." 92 Points, Rober Parker. 25/10/2004.

  3. Castelli Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

"Roasted spice and toast notes, a slip of reduction too, and then a powerful romp of blackcurrant and violet-like flavour explodes onto the palate. Tannin comes infused with green olive flavours but it's a commanding cabernet, full stop, hands down." 95 Points, Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front.

  4. Jack Estate Mythology Shiraz 2012

"Open-fermented, 26 months maturation in new and used French and American oak. A complex wine that certainly shows its sojourn in oak, but has enough savoury blackberry and mulberry fruits to sustain that oak; the tannins are fine, and underpin the length of the palate. Luxury packaging with a first class cork, perfectly inserted." 95 Points, James Halliday.

  5. Jack Estate Mythology Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

"All up, 40 months in French oak and the wine is sitting comfortably, all components neatly brought together into a harmonious whole. This is elegant. Perfectly ripe fruit, wafts of cassis, mint and dark chocolate all lead on to a full-bodied, yet so smooth, palate with finely detailed tannins." 94 Points, Jane Faulkner- Wine Annual.

  7. Greenock Creek Roennfeldt Road Caberent 1998

".. This is a full-bodied red with a finish that lasts well over 60 seconds. For its size and concentration, it is, surprisingly, not heavy, just super-endowed. The Cabernet Sauvignon needs 2-3 more years of cellaring, and should drink well for two decades. Unfortunately, quantities are extremely limited for this spectacular, world-class Australian red. Roennfeldt Road." 100 Points, Robert Parker. 25/10/2004.

  8. Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Most people would be unaware that Cabernet Sauvignon has been planted in the Barossa since at least 1888. Barossa Cabernets are rich, full flavoured wines and are a perfect fit into the Rockford stable. The fruit for this wine comes predominantly from vineyards along Rifle Range Road. The ‘Biscay’ soil of these vineyards is heavy clay, lending the wine its full flavour and earthy tones. The perfect wine to hide in your cellar, for as long as you are able.

  9. Brash Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

"Rich and chocolaty, with a dusting of bay leaf and herb, wet cement and Play-Doh, blackcurrant and blackberry. It’s silky and fruit sweet, combining regional leafiness and ripeness to good effect. Tannin is dusty and dry, with sweetness of raspberry and spice on a solid finish. Good stuff. Not the deepest, but accessible and easy to enjoy." 91 Points, Gary Walsh- The Wine Front.

  10. Stonestreet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

"Alexander Valley, Sonoma County. And for all the world, if you’d put this in front of me blind, I’d have said Margaret River Cabernet, and bet my left and right one on it too. Luckily for me, I’ve already produced two boys… Importer: Red + White Blackberry, blackcurrant, dried mint and bay leaf, baking spice oak. It’s medium to full-bodied, a saline nori character here, sweet spice and dark fruit, open-knit tannin, pleasing freshness with a little truffle and tobacco. Finish is good. Leaning towards raspberry, but still has something of a maritime character and sea breeze as it goes. Nice wine. 93 Points, Gary Walsh - The Wine Front.
