  1. Juniper Aquitaine Rouge 2016

"49% Cab Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 14% Malbec, 9% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc. Unleash the power of the blend! Strange to say, that even though I’ve rated the 2015 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon a little higher, this is the wine I prefer. What a beautiful thing this is. Raspberry, black cherry, pencils, mocha, violet and liquorice. It’s compact, dense, and ‘mineral’, has energy and freshness, depth of fruit, a ferrous feel with lithe and well-knit tannin, and a long perfumed finish. Love it. It’s claret time." 95 PointsGary Walsh - The Wine Front

  4. Traviarti Beechworth Rosso 2019

Winery Note:A mild ripening season provided the mid weight frame we have been seeking and with the blend now roughly 65% nebbiolo, 35% barbera it hits the balance of savoury and fruitfulness. For us this is ideal early drinking and ready for the table now!

  5. Place Of Changing Winds Tradition Pinot Shiraz 2019

"It’s a beautiful piece of craft. Beautiful fruit, beautiful savoury nuances, finessed tannin, convincing in every way. Black cherries, juicy plums, cloves, peppers and smoked herbs. The flavours hit and then spread. The tannin eggs the spread of flavour on. The finish leaves you satisfied and wanting more as if it’s one and the same. It takes a little while to open up, as most of the best wines do; quality loves air. Or wind, in this case. This is a garden of a wine, fertile, growing, friendly, generous. It makes good company." 95 Points, Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front.

  6. Place Of Changing Winds Clos De La Connerie 2019

"It’s not your average Pinot Noir. It’s varietal but it has a power to it, a force. When I say this I’m referring to its flavour profile; it’s actually a wine of detail and finesse, it’s just that the fruit flavours have a brooding darkness. Boysenberry stirred with anise, black cherry buried in undergrowth, five spice notes licking at sweet herbs. It’s a wine of black humour, if you will. The most impressive thing, as is often the way, is the formation of tannin, and the way it gathers that which has come before and completes it. I want to use the word spark in relation to the tannin; I just do. Perhaps what I mean is that it ignites the aftertaste. In any case I was ambivalent to the Place of Changing Winds project until I tasted this wine, and then in a rush I wanted to know everything and more about it. Gorgeousness in wine is nothing if not inspiring." 95 Points, Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front.

  7. Eloquesta Shiraz Petit Verdot 2017

Once again Stuart Olsen has crafted a beautifully fruit driven but savoury and powerful wine from this less than typical blend of Shiraz and Petit Verdot. Made from fruit sourced in the Mudgee region it shows depth but lithe tannins and lasting complexity.

  8. Moss Wood Amys Red Blend 2018 1500ml

"Moss Wood's Bordeaux blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, malbec and petit verdot. Deep but bright crimson-purple foretells what is to come: a rich yet refined medium-bodied wine, oak and tannins present but not the least obvious." 96 Points, James Halliday.

  9. Terre A Terre Piccadilly Red Blend 2019

Winemakers notes. The Piccadilly RED is made every year with various red varieties we have in our vineyards in the Piccadilly Valley. It is made as an easy drinking wine – vin de soif as we say in French – with limited time ageing in old oak and a focus on the fruit characters. The result is a very appealing wine with nice violet aromatics and good palate structure, which pairs excellently with a variety of dishes.

  10. Yarra Yering Dry Red No.3 2018

"Made from '90 plantings of touriga nacional, tinta cao, tinta roriz, tinta amarela, avarelhao and sousao. Excellent winemaking, the varieties embracing each other on the medium-bodied palate. The texture of the purple and black fruits is perfect." 95 Points, James Halliday.
