Notes
"Medium purple with a pink hue and a nose that brings the perfume, florals and sweet fruited notes that come from carbonic maceration. Roses and violets, pineapple sage, deep raspberry and strawberry, blueberry pie, roasted fig, cherry compote, white pepper, cinnamon, a touch of bay leaf and sweet baking spice.
In the mouth it’s playful, bright and spicy with high toned fruit held within a tight and toned frame of bright acidity and feathery tannins. Think jubey red fruits, glacé cherry, blueberry, plum and blood orange spiced with rising notes of anise, cinnamon, cardamom and rosewater. It shows its hand early and holds through to the midpalate and beyond, ending on nectarine skins and slightly bitter cherry stone. A classy entry into the wonderful wines of Altera Terra."
