Notes
"100% whole bunch, fermented wild, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The peppercorn, peanut shell and mezcal characters are overt here but, that said, the integration of these notes with the main run of fruit is seamless. This is another highly successful release. For all its spice and herb notes though its main claim to quality fame is its finish, which has the kind of extra kick that we all hope for. There’s quite exquisite finesse on show here too. It’s red berried, it’s slipped with twiggy tannin, it’s tightened slightly by reduction, and it seals the deal in the end. It’s very cool climate, and it’s very good."
