Well here’s the more ‘classic’ style of Pinot Noir, I guess, if you could call it that. It’s cherry and strawberry, quite spicy with a dash of cinnamon and pencil, a little stalky/bunchy, but rosy perfumed too. Medium-bodied, slightly meaty and savoury, but that cherry/raspberry flavour is bright and present, the tannin offers firm grip and grain, and the finish is stony and long, with something of a blood orange juiciness. Delightful Pinot Noir. Such energy and character. 94 points, Gary Walsh- TWF
