Notes
93 pts - Dave Brookes (Halliday Wine Companion):
Probably the shyest and broodiest of the current release; it takes a little glass swishing to release aromas of blackberry, kirsch and macerated plum fruits along with underlying hints of dried herbs, clove, fruitcake, ironstone, fruit-and-nut chocolate, vanillin oak, purple flowers, pan juices and earth. Tight, pure black berry and dark plum fruits, dredged in wood spice, with plenty of chew to the fine-grained tannins. It's drinking nicely, but the structure is there for cellaring.
