Notes
Vermentino held on skins for two days. Aged in cement and old wood. Goes through malo. No added sulphur. No fining. No filtering. Importer: Mondo Imports
It’s a bolder expression of Bianco in 2022, delivering quite a bit of rich flavour. It’s gently nutty, saline, honey and chamomile, and more of those things than fruit in a way, though there is a preserved lemon and tangerine thing. It’s tangy, a fine chalky grip to texture, salted pistachio and almond, with a waxy and dusty textured finish. Very nice. I think you either like these wines, or you don’t, though I find most people do, perhaps curiously.
