"Fruit comes from Freeman vineyard in Hilltops. 50% whole bunch, 50% whole berry. Red fruit and a very appetite inducing balsamic lift, spot on, in the right place and dose. High toned perfume, fresh fair leather, orange peel, fennel, sweet almond, smidge of violet. Has it all? White pumice stone tannins, lots of flavour mid palate but light on its feet with translucent, ethereal texture. Just doing its Nebbiolo thing and well. Finishes with warming spice and chalk.
