Notes
"This is an excursion for G.D.Vajra into the hills of Dogliani. It’s sourced from three vineyards and sees stainless steel only.
Fair to say that I love this. It’s simple and comforting but there’s complexity if you go looking. Fine graphite, dried herb, mineral and sweet-sour cherry flavours come flecked with dirt, dust, something. There’s a ripple to this, a dryness, a slow dawning of the tight. In an ideal world this wine, or one like it, would be available on every wine list in the land. It’s the kind of perfect dry-light red wine that makes scoring irrelevant, as many of the best-drinking wines do."
