"A change of vineyard for our Pinot Blanc in 2O23. We sourced the fruit for this wine from a vineyard that would have to be in contention for the best view in the valley. The vineyard straddles the ridge line at an elevation of 652m ASL. This cool high elevation site is predominantly planted with Pinot and Chardonnay for sparkling base. There is solitary row of Pinot Blanc amongst the Chardonnay and in the past the fruit was not deemed suitable for a single varietal wine and was simply blended away as the volume is so tiny. We thought differently and this first release from Mt Bellevue shows great promise at this site." Winery Notes
