Lytton Springs, in Sonoma County, became part of the Ridge estate in 1991. It was found to be an exceptional site where climate and soil were perfectly matched. Hand-harvested estate grown grapes are fermented on the native yeasts, representing this producer’s commitment to single-vineyard production. All eight Petite Sirah parcels were fermented separately. Of those, seven were chosen for their depth of colour and rich texture. The wine aged for 16 months in American oak barrels. Built to last, this powerful wine will age for 12-15 years.
