"It may not have the romance of ‘single vineyard status’ but this is a mighty good wine. It’s so composed, so harmonious; it’s as settled as it is sustained, as pure as it is complex. It tastes of smoked hay, almonds, grilled nectarines, citrus and bran, a smoked bacon element in play as well. As with the 2021 release, it has a stony character; an of-the-Beechworth-earthiness.
