Notes
A vibrant, medium-bodied red with lifted aromatics and savoury depth. Red cherry and black plum meet subtle spice and floral lift. The palate is supple yet precise, with fine-grained tannins and a long, unforced finish. A wine that shows clarity, not volume—and the kind of structure that grows in the glass.
Sourced from a windswept 29-year-old Moppa Hill site in the Barossa’s north-west, this wine reflects the synergy of ironstone soils, cooler elevation (325m), and dry-grown vines. 2024 delivered an exceptional, low-yielding season—dry, clean, and full of finesse.
Co-fermented naturally, with 10% whole bunch. Basket-pressed and matured in seasoned French oak and Italian Clayver for 12 months. Bottled unfined and unforced. A wine of site, restraint, and intention.
